Zarmin Partner Policy
For Zarmin Pros · Version 1 · Last updated October 20, 2026
Zarmin Pros record places for customers who cannot be there. Customers trust Zarmin to deliver honest, useful recordings, and Pros trust Zarmin to keep them private and safe. This policy explains what Zarmin expects of every Pro. It adds to our terms and privacy policy. Pros agree to it in the Zarmin Pro app before taking on requests.
1. Taking on requests
- Read a request's instructions, map and drawing before taking it on.
- Take on only requests you can reach safely and legally, and finish in time.
- If something is unclear, ask Zarmin in the app before you record. Zarmin admins answer.
- If you cannot finish a request, give it up in the app as early as you can, so another Pro can take it.
2. Time to hand in
- Hand a request in within 48 hours of taking it on. Sooner is better.
- If time runs out, the request is offered to other Pros, and you are not credited for it.
- If a recording is sent back, fix what the admin's note says within 24 hours.
3. Recording
- Record the real place the request asks for, yourself, at the time you hand it in. Never hand in old footage, someone else's footage, or a different place.
- Cover what the customer drew and asked about, clearly and steadily.
- Record only from where you are allowed to be. Never trespass, and never put yourself or others in danger.
- Respect people's privacy: avoid filming people up close, and never film inside a home or on private property without permission.
4. Keep yourself private
- Never show or say your name, phone number, email address, social media, home address, business card or any other way to reach you, in videos, pictures or sound.
- Never contact a customer, or invite a customer to contact you, outside Zarmin. All questions go through Zarmin.
- Zarmin shows customers only your Pro name, never your real name, number or address.
5. What happens if the policy is broken
Zarmin admins review every recording before it reaches a customer. If a Pro breaks this policy, Zarmin may, depending on how serious it is:
- send the recording back or decline it, without credit;
- suspend the Pro's account, for a time or for good;
- cancel credits the Pro has earned and not yet been paid (forfeiture).
6. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the version above changes, and Pros are asked in the app to read and agree to the new version before taking more requests.
